By entering the race, all participants agree to comply with the rules and directions of the event officials and their personnel, that they participate at their own risk, attest and verify that they are sufficiently fit and have trained for the event to be able to finish within the time limits, to respect the rules of fair play and follow the organizers route. In case of sickness or injuries runners are encouraged to seek assistance.
Hengill Ultra Trail Rules:
A few points and rules for all participants from Petur Ingi Frantzson, creator and race director
Runners must sign in on the following checkpoints: Dalakaffi, Ölkelduháls, Innstidalur, parking space at ON below Sleggjubeinsskarð, Skeggi, Innstidalur, Ölkelduháls, Dalakaffi and Hveragerði.
In case of accidents and other emergencies runners must assist each other until help has arrived.
Race director and race management is not liable for events of Force Majeure and can cancel or suspend the race if necessary.
18 years for all ultra distances, 50KM and 100KM.
For finishing the Hengill Ultra Trail 100KM 5 UTMB points are awarded, 3 points for 50KM and 1 point for the 25KM run.
The race management recommends strongly that every runner carries the following all the time.
Storage and assistance
There will be a special area for extra equipment in Hveragerdi. Each runner is allowed two assistants at the area. Organize everything carefully, especially nourishment, drinks and clothes. Bring warm clothes and shoes for after the race. Weather in Iceland is normally nice at this time of the year but can be unpredictable.
100K and 80K at 00:01 (one minute after midnight) on Saturday 2. September.
50K at 09:00 Saturday
24K at 13:00 Saturday.
5K and 10K at 14:00 Saturday.

4x25KM -9 hours. Finish before 17:0

By registration in the race participants have already agreed to the following:
Together with sponsors, race officials and management, Hengill Ultra is not responsible for participants health during the race or in relation to the race, physical or mental damage in connection with participating in the race.
Fees are non-refundable but name changes can be made while online registration is still open. Fees are not transferable between years.
Paid fees will not be refunded if the race must be cancelled due to unforeseen events (Force Majeure).
